Timaru has a new Crown Solicitor.
Gresson Dorman & Co partner Andrew Robert McRae has been appointed Crown Solicitor for Timaru, Attorney-General Christopher Finlayson announced today.
Mr McRae has taken over from colleague Tim Gresson, who is retiring from the role. Mr Gresson will remain a partner of Gresson, Dorman & Co.
Mr McRae, who graduated from Canterbury University in 1999 and worked in the Christchurch Crown Solicitor's office until 2007, has been involved as lead counsel in more than 150 trials, including homicide, drug and fraud cases.
