Tramper airlifted from Lake Pukaki
A tramper who broke his arm near Lake Pukaki was rescued this morning and taken to Timaru Hospital.
The tramper in the Glentanner area activated his rescue beacon shortly before 10pm last night.
The Aoraki Mount Cook Department of Conservation search and rescue team located the man at 12.40am. He had a broken arm and was picked up and taken to Timaru by a Helicopter Line helicopter this morning.
