Guide's injury cuts tramp short
A hiking group was airlifted out of Aoraki Mt Cook National Park this morning after their guide injured his knee.
The party of four, including the guide, was picked up from Caroline Hut just after 9 after spending two nights in the park, community relations manager Shirley Slatter said. It was the last day of their trip.
The guide was due to see a doctor for assessment today.
