Couple's work marked
Temuka District Lions Club husband and wife members Sally and Keith Woodhead both received awards at a presentation recently.
They were both awarded membership of the Lloyd Morgan Lions Clubs Charitable Trust. Mrs Woodhead was made an Honoured Member and Mr Woodhead a Friend of the Trust.
Mrs Woodhead is a charter member of the club and has held roles including president. She is the welfare co-ordinator for Lions and Civil Defence in Temuka.
Mr Woodhead has worked on club projects, with its sound equipment and as the handyman.
The couple have raised funds for Christchurch schools after the Canterbury earthquakes and the Timaru MRI Scanner appeal.
