'Not guilty' pleas on accessory charges
Two Oamaru people charged with being accessories in relation to the murder of dairy farmer Justin McFarlane pleaded not guilty before the registrar at the Oamaru District Court this morning.
Stephanie Rose Lawrence, 26, shop assistant of Oamaru and Corbin George Taylor, 17, cheese maker of Oamaru, were both charged with being accessories after the fact in relation to the alleged help given to four people charged with Mr McFarlane's murder.
Both matters have been adjourned for case review and the pair are set to reappear on December 11.
