Ryall appoints three to DHB
Following the announcement last week that Murray Cleverley is to chair both the South Canterbury and Canterbury District Health Boards, Health Minister Tony Ryall has announced three of the four appointed members of the SCDHB.
They are Edie Moke, Raeleen de Joux, and Murray Roberts.
Ron Luxton, like Mr Cleverley an elected member, has been reappointed as deputy chairman.
Ms Moke has extensive experience in business development and accounting in the public and private sectors. She is currently a director of Health Benefits Limited. She has also been appointed to the Canterbury DHB.
Mrs de Joux is a Maori adviser at the New Zealand College of Midwives. She is a member of South Canterbury DHB's Maori Advisory Group and Hospital Advisory Committee, along with other community and national boards.
Mr Roberts is a self-employed business consultant and member of the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
An appointment to the final member position is expected be announced shortly.
