SINGERS WANTED: Keen choristers are invited to take part in annual carol singing at Timaru Hospital.

Christmas carols will ring out in the corridors of Timaru Hospital next week.

Chaplain Alan Cummins is organising the annual carol singing, inviting keen choristers to take part in Thursday night's event.

The carollers meet in the hospital chapel at 7pm, before working their way around the hospital over the next hour and a half. Some costumes are provided, others wear their own, Mr Cummins said.

On Tuesday, at 7.30pm, a service of memorial and reflection will be held in the hospital chapel, open to everyone who has had a bereavement in the past year.
