Getting into festive spirit

19:21, Dec 16 2013

With just a gold coin donation at the door, parents can drop their primary school age children off at the Temuka Trinity Church Christmas Craft morning on Saturday.

The children will learn how to make festive items including tree decorations, stockings and ice biscuits.

Everything they create they get to take home with them.

Organiser Jocelyn Cochrane said there would be plenty of people to help them with their creations and it gave parents a chance to do their Christmas shopping in peace.

About 40 children are expected and they will be given a biscuit and a soft drink during the session from 9.30am to 12pm.

Parents can book their children in by contacting the church or dropping them off on Saturday at the Trinity church hall on Hally Tce.
