A car driven by a 27-year-old woman rear-ended the farm ute of a couple in their 50s about 2.30pm yesterday on Clayton Road near Fairlie.
Police, ambulance and fire service attended. Both cars were written off and the ute was flipped upside-down.
Fairlie fire station officer Wayne Dixon said the passengers were able to get out of the car and suffered only minor injuries. Mr Dixon said traffic was reduced to one lane immediately after the crash.
Two dogs on the back of the ute ran off and only one has been found.
