Co-chairman of the Timaru West School centenary committee, Colin Taylor, lines the walls of Bluestone School's hall with photos and memories from the 100 years of the school.
West was merged with Timaru Main School to become Bluestone School in 2005, and the centenary marks 100 years of a school being on the present site.
About 350 former pupils are gathering from across New Zealand, Australia and America, according to Bluestone principal Ian Poulter.
A get-together was held at the school last night and the centennial dinner will be at Greyway Lounge today.
