Prang ends trailer caper
A runaway trailer has left a Timaru man with a charge of disorderly behaviour.
The intoxicated 27-year-old made a racket as he pushed a tandem axel trailer down Wilson St about 10.30pm yesterday. However, the trailer got away on him, Senior Sergeant Randel Tikitiki said.
He chased after it, but in doing so sustained minor grazes and bruising.
The trailer eventually hit a parked car, causing the vehicle minor damage.
''He was drunk and had no real reason for pushing the trailer,'' Mr Tikitiki said.
The man was charged with disorderly behaviour.
