Police are investigating a sexual attack at 6.05pm on Evans St.
The driver of a Volkswagen van which ran into the back of well-lit tractor and trailer was taken to Timaru Hospital assessment after the crash at 6.50am on the Winchester-Geraldine Rd. The tractor driver was uninjured. The van was written off and the trailer was damaged.
A Fairlie man was nearly three times over the maximum legal breath alcohol level (400mcg) and was charged with EBA on Selwyn St at 2.35am. He blew 1160mcg.
A Timaru man, 19, was arrested on Evans St for carrying an offensive weapon during an argument at 2.40pm.
A Timaru man, 46, was charged with EBA, blowing 912mcg, and breaching bail.
An insurance brokers' large window on Sophia St was smashed overnight on Saturday.
A 57-year-old woman was arrested for trespass at an Usk St address on Friday at 9pm. She had been looking for alcohol and was charged with burglary and trespass.
