A 59-year-old Timaru woman faces charges after she allegedly attempted to drive after drinking at a Timaru bar and then assaulted a courtesy van driver who was asked by staff to take her home, a police spokesman said this morning.
A woman was assaulted in a domestic dispute in Aorangi Rd at about 10.20pm yesterday. Police were working to locate the alleged offender.
A Timaru man, 23, will be summonsed after the alleged assault of a female at a party.
A 44-year-old Timaru woman will be summonsed after police said she withdrew cash from a friend's account without permission using their EFTPOS card.
A Timaru man, 33, was arrested and charged with wilful damage.
