A Timaru man, 29, was arrested yesterday after he was caught attempting to sell liquor to four teenagers, aged between 14 and 15, on Saturday, near Cross St. Police have since spoken to the man in the weekend about the incident.

Police attended a minor car crash involving three cars on Evans St at 3.50pm today.

A Timaru youth, 17, was apprehended for sustained loss of traction after he was caught doing burn-outs on Marsden Rd. He was later arrested and had his licence suspended.

Police attended a crash at Mt Michael in Fairlie about 11am yesterday. A vehicle carrying tourists rolled off a bank, but there were no injuries. The vehicle incurred some damage.

A quad bike was reported stolen from a farmer's yard at Kakahu near Geraldine yesterday.

On Friday a Timaru man had his licence suspended for excess demerits.

A 24-year-old Dunedin man was arrested for wilful damage after he was spotted throwing bottles at cars on SH1.

A 23-year-old Timaru woman was arrested for assault on Stafford St.
