A motorbike and a truck collided at the intersection of Grasmere and Evans streets at about 2pm on Thursday. Police said the driver of the motorbike attempted to pass the truck on its left side while the truck was making a left turn.
A Geraldine man, 27, was charged with drink driving (598 mcg) after being stopped in Evans St about 12.20am.
A Timaru man, 21, was charged with drink driving (645 mcg) after being stopped near the intersection of Church and Le Cren streets.
A Timaru woman, 55, was charged with drink driving (648 mcg) after being stopped in Le Cren St.
A Timaru man, 19, was issued an infringement notice with 50 demerit points after he was stopped in King St with a breath alcohol concentration of 66 mcg per litre.
A Timaru man, 25, was arrested on a warrant.
A 31-year-old woman was airlifted to Christchurch Hospital at 11.45am on Friday after she was thrown from a horse and broke her leg.
