A bottle was thrown at a vehicle on the sale lot of South Canterbury Toyota, smashing its windscreen.

All four tyres were slashed on a vehicle parked in Flemington St.

A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked car parked at the Highfield golf course.

Three 16-year-old youths reported their iPhones and wallets stolen from the Caroline Bay Trust Aoraki Centre. Police said their bags had not been placed in lockers.

A water cylinder and laundry tub were taken from a vacant Makikihi-area property.

Police are seeking to speak with a Timaru man, 21, in connection with the theft of a laptop computer and DVD player from an Andrews St residence.


An Orbell St resident reported the theft of a GPS, sunglasses and a first aid kit from a car.

Locks were broken off a paint shed at an Aorangi Rd business. Nothing was reported taken.

A Timaru man, 24, was arrested for an assault on a woman, theft, driving while suspended and unlawful taking.

A man was dealt with for driving while disqualified.

A man, 63, was dealt with for driving while forbidden.
