Fairlie police are investigating reports of suspected poachers seen spotlighting in the area of Glenrock Station about 11.30pm on Saturday. Members of the public also reported hearing rifle shots.

A Fairlie youth, 17, was arrested for drink driving (702 mcg) after a traffic stop in Theodosia St about 1am on Monday.

A Timaru woman, 48, was arrested for drink driving (1341 mcg) in Morgans Rd after a member of the public saw her falling out of a car about 4pm on Saturday.

Police attended a domestic dispute among three people in Banks St, Fairlie, that apparently began when provocative messages were posted on Facebook. Trespass notices were issued.

A 16-year-old youth suffered bruising to his leg in a domestic incident between a father and son on Hilton Highway about 7pm on Saturday.

A Timaru woman, 45, was arrested for breach of peace after she was found extremely intoxicated in the area of Russell Square about 7pm on Saturday.

A Timaru man, 19, was arrested on a warrant at a Mowbray St residence.

A Timaru girl, 17, was charged with unlawfully taking a vehicle from Waimate.
