A female cyclist suffered minor injuries after colliding with a car while she was riding east on Wai-Iti Rd about 7am on Tuesday. The crash occurred near the intersection with Mountainview Rd. Police said the driver, a Timaru man, failed to see the cyclist.

A Balclutha woman, 56, escaped injury when she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a ditch along State Highway 1 near Bristol Rd about 1pm on Monday.

A Tasmanian man, 47, was charged with driving while suspended and had his vehicle impounded.

A teenage boy had his motorbike impounded after being found driving while forbidden in Otipua Rd.
