A Timaru man, 34, was arrested after police executed a warrant about midday on Tuesday at a Laughton St address. Police accused the man of cultivating 20 cannabis plants in a hydroponic grow tent in a garage.
A Waimate man, 18, had his driver's licence suspended after he was stopped for speeding on State Highway 1 about 5.30am on Wednesday. Police said the man was driving at 141kmh in a pink-stickered vehicle.
A Timaru man, 40, was apprehended for drink driving (810 mcg) after being stopped in Sefton St abut 1.30am on Wednesday.
An Ashburton man, 44, was apprehended for drink driving (605 mcg) after being stopped in Evans St about 10pm on Tuesday. His vehicle was impounded.
