The St Andrews Cycling Club held two races over 16km and 24km for the senior riders and two 8km for the cadets on Thursday.
The 16km graded scratch races had 10 riders in each division.
In the A Grade two riders, Andy Van Der Hayden and Shane Archbold were started one and a half minutes behind the rest but caught them in the run to the line.
They were upstaged by Eli Edmondston who won from Van Der Hayden and Nicole Begg with Archbold fourth.
The B grade stayed together throughout, and in the sprint for line honours Cameron Dunnage won well from James Valentine, Mark Leonard and Geoff Lienert.
The C grade lost just one rider and in the sprint Bruce Hoskin led out and held off John Blunden, Tony Giles and Andrea Aitkinson to win.
The D grade finished with eight and in the run to the finish, Graeme Legg won from Neville Orford, Myra Adams and Julian Dale.
The longer 24km event was handicapped into eight bunches, just after the turn around the third, fourth, and fifth groups to leave had merged, making 22 who were averaging 38kmh in the quest to catch the limit man.
Cliff Rawson was given up to 10 minutes' start on his pursuers and crossed the line to win by one second, before Shanell Rae led in the pack to take second from Phil Burtenshaw, David Sleigh and Neville Orford.
The second-to-last bunch to leave the break markers took the fastest time honours of 33m33s.
Simon Coventry led in Mark Staniford and Richard Smallridge.
The under-17 cadet first race was won by Emily Van Der Hayden in 18m45s from Melissa Maxwell, second fastest, with Hayden Walker third and recording fastest time of 15:42.
Their second race saw Tim Leonard win in 22:37. Walker was second from Kathleen McCaughan and Cameron Fitzgerald, who also recorded second fastest and the speedster Dylan Kennett, fifth and fastest in 13minutes. Herald correspondent
