An announcement on who will be the new permanent South Canterbury Cricket executive officer should be known by the end of this month.
South Canterbury Cricket Association president Andrew McRae said his board was meeting tomorrow night to go over applications.
He said the board was determined "to act quickly" with the hope of announcing someone in the next 10 days.
Mark Medlicott has been the acting South Canterbury Cricket executive officer since November when David Fisher stepped down from the part-time role to pursue other career opportunities.
McRae said he was pleased with the calibre of applicants and noted they all came from within South Canterbury.
