South Canterbury's Emily Fanning scored her second win for the New Zealand Fed Cup women's tennis team as they claimed an easy victory in their third match at the Asia/Oceania Group II in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The team accounted for Turkmenistan, 3-0, without dropping a set as Emma Hayman defeated Guliahan Kadyrova, 6-0 6-0, and Fanning did the same in her match against Jahana Bayramova.
In the doubles, Hayman and Abigail Guthrie won, 6-4 6-1, over Anastasiya Prenko and Jenneta Halliyeva.
The Kiwi team is without Marina Erakovic who has returned to New Zealand after a thumb injury when she fell in the tournament hotel. New Zealand play Singapore in their final pool match.
