Craighead and Timaru Boys' High School came out on top in the Aoraki Secondary Schools' annual touch championship.
In the senior boys' section, Roncalli and TBHS tied in round-robin play but TBHS triumphed 3-2 in the final.
Five teams contested the senior girls' title, with Roncalli and Craighead impressing in pool play. However, Craighead proved superior, winning 6-0 to take the title. Timaru Girls' High School snatched third place from Geraldine after a countback to decide the placings.
TBHS also claimed the junior boys' title over Roncalli by the same score as the senior final.
The senior mixed final went the way of Ashburton, 3-1 over Waimate. While Waimate delivered a better defensive game than in their earlier encounter, they were unable to topple Ashburton. Geraldine finished in third position.
The top two finishers in each pool have qualified for the South Island Secondary School Touch Championships in Christchurch on February 23-24.
