The Timaru Rowing Club has finished with six medals from their week of toil at the National Rowing Championships on Lake Ruataniwha.
The 15-person squad won three gold and three bronze medals at the regatta.
The experienced last-minute combination of Erica Taylor and Emma Weith ensured Timaru would win a gold medal over all three finals days, with a brilliant win in the womens under 19 double sculls final.
Taylor had to replace Paige Cook in the boat after Cook suffered a back injury which forced her out of the final day.
The womens under 19 coxed four of Emma Dyke, Alice Murdoch, Harriet Sutton, Surrey Collett and cox Zoe Dobbs finished fourth in their final.
Earlier, Murdoch and Renee Olley finished seventh in the womens 19 double final won by their club mates, while a reshuffled womens club four finished sixth in their final.
The women under 20 pair of Dyke and Taylor were scratched after Cook's injury so crews could focus on the more realistic medal chance in the double which paid dividends.
