Tyler Collings was the top performer among eight South Canterbury athletes competing at Athletics Canterbury Interclub meeting at QEII Stadium.
Collings won both the men's 16 100m and 400m, both in personal bests recording 51.47s for the 400m.
Clubmate Harlem Cole was third in the 100m in 11.79s.
In the M19 3000m track walk Daniel Lord won in 13m 42.56s and also took out the javelin with a throw of 38.92m.
Lord was an impressive winner in the senior men's 400m hurdles in a season best performance of 59.88m.
Brett Clifford, 16, finished third in the 1500m in 4m 18.74s while Simon Bunckenburg was fifth in the invitation 800m.
In the W16 high jump La Toya Te Kapa made a welcome return to athletics to take out the event with a leap of 1.60m and narrowly missing 1.65m.In the W19 grade Nicola Mackle won the long jump with 5.10m and 200m in 27.78 with Lucinda Shaw third in the 3000m track walk in 15m 59.92s which was close to her personal best.
