The final swim session of the Timaru North Club Championships saw William MacLeod carry on his record-breaking form, setting a further three club records in the boys' 11-and-under age group.

In his first race of the night MacLeod shaved half a second off Jordan Hooke's 50-metre butterfly record set in 2007.

MacLeod's second record came in the 50-metre freestyle, where he again broke the record previously held by Hooke.

This time the margin was a lot closer, with MacLeod shaving just a fifth of a second off the old time.

His final record came in the 100-metre backstroke, where he took a full five seconds off the old record set in 2002 by Sam Naylor.
