Eternity by artists Fernando Inaurgarat and Alfredo Juan Diez. Guests can arrive early to be part of the six-week process of carving out the suite, staying in warm accommodation, or arrive when it's finished.

Ice Hotel
Blue Marine by William Blomstrand and Andrew Winch. Art suites designed and hand carved by global artists every winter, and showing the ideas and concepts that can be created with ice and snow, have been the foundation for the new guest-designed haute couture rooms.

A hotel guest designing their own suite before arrival is unusual, even more so when the room is made of ice.

But at the IceHotel guests can now create a "haute couture" room for their exclusive use in Jukkasjarvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Sweden.

Prcies start from A$257,000 ($274,784).
