Taiwan's Eva Air is expanding a service offering a complete Hello Kitty experience - from check-in to meals - based on the popular cartoon kitten.

The airline has transformed three Airbus A330-300 aircrafts, creating Hello Kitty-themed jets for two new flight routes in hopes of boosting the country's struggling tourism industry.

flying between cities such as Taipei, Fukuoka, Narita, Sapporo, Incheon, Hong Kong and Guam.

The first new route will connect Taipei and Tokyo, with the themed aircraft Hello Kitty flying twice a day. The second Hello Kitty jet service from Songshan flies to Shanghai six times a week.
