Q:We (mum, dad, 9 and 12-yearolds) will be travelling to Beijing around September next year.

We are weighing up Hong Kong vs Singapore as stopovers and want your opinion on each as a stopover for both adults and children

A: Hong Kong and Singapore both offer great stopovers with wholesome entertainment and endless fun for the whole family. Below are some of our favourite things to do in each area, so you can decide what's most appealing to you and your family.

Unique to Hong Kong you'll find Ocean Park - a combination of spectacular oceanariums, exhilarating rides and adorable animals within one complex.

A visit to Disneyland Hong Kong is also a must for any family, along with two Disney hotels nearby for easy accommodation.

In Singapore you'll find Resorts World Sentosa Island, often described as Singapore's tropical theme park.

The island boasts a wide range of attractions such as the Marine Life Park, SEA Aquarium, and Adventure Cove Park - to the renowned Universal Studios.

If your family are animal lovers, opt for a visit to Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, the Night Safari Park or the recently opened River Safari.
