A powdery spring surprise resulted in a happy bunch of snowboarders who made the most of the last days of the season in Queenstown.

Consecutive waves of southerly snow fronts brought late spring flurries to the mountains around Queenstown recently.

It's been enough to get the Diaries Downunder crew building jumps and ramps on after-season slopes, and hiking for couloir shots off the peaks.
