We're OK with being on the very bottom of the world almost all of the time. But then we see pictures like these of Spaniards cavorting in the Guadalevin river in gorgeous Malaga, Spain, and it gets tough.

It is currently a perfect 28 degrees celsius in Malaga, and they have no rain forecast for the rest of the month. Yes, certified blue skies for weeks on end.

Meanwhile, our very own Milton is in for a treat next Monday: a low of two degrees celsius and torrential rain all day long. Fun.

Here are some other things that are making us jealous of the Northen Hemisphere right now:

1. These pictures of yesterday's Fourth Of July celebrations (although we do feel for that kid in number three. Sometimes it's just too toasty for a full marching band uniform).

2. The fact that songs like this get released all winter long.

3. Every single one of these. Or these.

4. The ominously named Death Valley is in the midst of a too-hot-to-handle heatwave. Temperatures have been hovering around the 50 degrees mark, giving them some of the hottest days ever recorded in the U.S. Is it hot enough to fry an egg? The BBC had a crack. Okay, sure, while this doesn't actually make us jealous, it does frighten us and it is fascinating.

But then, we've got this. Plus, we'll get them back come December (well, let's be honest, February - Christmas is always patchy).
