EVACUATION: Auckland's domestic airport was evacuated after a false alarm.

Auckland Airport was temporarily empty this afternoon when a false alarm forced an evacuation.

The alarm was triggered about 1.50pm.

All staff and passengers had to leave the domestic terminal but were able to return just after 2.20pm, an airport spokesman said.
