Auckland Airport IT outage resolved, some delays still expected
An IT outage at Auckland Airport which affected flight information, Eftpos and carparking systems for several hours on Tuesday has been resolved.
Auckland Airport spokesman Simon Lambourne confirmed that an IT outage had occurred about midday on Tuesday.

By 2.45pm the IT systems were running again, but the reason behind the outage was still being investigated.
Lambourne said there were a small number of delays affecting domestic and international flights.
He said all delay times were "less than an hour".
Passengers were advised to check the Auckland Airport website or app to see if their flights had been affected.
Vector confirmed that it was not a power outage on its network.
Jetstar and Air New Zealand said the outage had not caused delays to their flights.
