A Nawton woman has appeared in court after allegedly racking up more than $8000 on somebody else's Q-Card.
Part-time cleaner Tipare Ropitini, 47, entered no plea to 43 charges of using a document - Q-Card - for precuinary advantage after appearing in Hamilton District Court today.
Ropitini allegedly made 43 separate transactions on the card between July 18 and 31 worth about $8500.
Ropitini's counsel Louis Wilkins said he anticipated his client would admit the charges which resulted after a Q-Card - akin to a Farmer's card - was sent to his client's house. She then began using it.
Ropitini was bailed to reappear next month.
