Viewers in parts of Waikato and the Bay of Plenty will be without TVNZ digital coverage early tomorrow while the broadcaster completes routine transmitter maintenance.
The Te Aroha transmitter broadcasts digital terrestrial TV via Freeview to the Hamilton and Waikato areas, and via repeaters to Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga and the northern Bay of Plenty.
Freeview satellite services will not be affected but TVNZ digital broadcasts on Freeview's terrestrial platform, including TV One, TV2, TV One-plus-1 and Channel U will be unavailable for up to five hours between 1am and 6am.
