The identity of a man accused of kidnapping Rae Portman before she was killed will continue to be kept secret.
Ms Portman, 33, went missing in Auckland in June and her body was found at the back of a rural Ardmore property in September.
The man - who is the second to be charged with kidnapping Ms Portman - appeared at the Papakura District Court yesterday, where Judge Sharon McAuslan continued his name suppression.
The accused's lawyer, Stuart Blake, said the "threat and risk" to the man's safety was "real". Extensive suppression orders prevented his arrest in September from being reported.
