Frustrated drivers won't see a repeat of the congestion that hampered morning traffic flows along Wairere Dr between Crosby Rd and Ruakura Rd.
The Ring Road Facebook page fielded complaints from angry commuters, some waiting in traffic for up to 40 minutes as the tail stretched for up to two kilometres.
Workers are sealing the southbound lanes of Wairere Drive and will be finished by the end of the day and traffic is expected to flow more freely tomorrow.
Sealing work begins on the northbound lanes today and continue until mid week and drivers should avoid the area between the Fifth Ave roundabout and Crosby during peak times.
