Lifestyle magazine Que folds
Waikato lifestyle magazine Que has gone into liquidation, three years after being founded in Cambridge.
Publisher Melissa Wilson, director of Zephyr Publishing, announced on Christmas Eve on Facebook that the quarterly magazine was folding.
Wilson told the Waikato Times she was awaiting legal advice before she could comment.
Her Facebook post said it had always been a gamble to start and maintain a business in a recession and, despite the financial difficulties the company experienced, she had been optimistic the magazine would pull through.
Companies Office records for Zephyr Publishing, last updated on December 19, said the company was overdue in its obligation to file an annual return.
A second note said the Registrar of Companies was satisfied the company had ceased to carry on business and action had started to remove it from the register.
