Colliers International employs city valuers
Colliers International has appointed Hamilton property valuers Matt Snelgrove and Gareth Munro to its national valuation and advisory services division.
They join Colliers International from CBRE and will remain based in Hamilton.
Kane Sweetman, Colliers national director of valuation and advisory services, said the appointments allowed Colliers International to extend the geographical reach of its valuation and advisory services.
"With the Waikato's growth prospects, and the region's close proximity to Auckland and good transport links, it made sense to bring some established local operators on board who are well respected in the market," he said.
"We now provide services across a much bigger geographical area, with the Hamilton-based team joining our existing valuation and advisory professionals based in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown."
The pair will initially cover the Waikato region, with a view to developing Colliers International's valuation and advisory services in the Bay of Plenty, in conjunction with Colliers' Tauranga office.
Valuation director Matt Snelgrove has worked for CBRE in Hamilton since 2008. He has previously held roles with private valuation practice Curnow Tizard, as well as owning and running his own valuation business. He holds a business studies degree from Massey University.
Registered valuer Gareth Munro joined CBRE in 2008 as a property graduate from Auckland University.
Colliers International is the third largest commercial real estate services company in the world, with more than 12,300 professionals operating out of more than 522 offices in 62 countries.
