A total of $110 million dollars-worth of building consents were issued in the Waikato during November - with the commercial sector in Hamilton City Council leading the charge.
In all, $55m was consented for 72 non residential projects in the Waikato, $38m of this in Hamilton city borders.
That is up on the area's non-residential consents for both October and September last year, which were $7m and $10m respectively.
The Waikato residential sector remained steady in November with another $55m tagged to 213 consents.
That is up on October's residential consents which were valued at almost $44m, and slightly more than September's, which were valued at around $50m.
Hamilton City Council also led the list of most residential consents issued in November, with a total of 105, while Waipa District Council issued 34 and Waikato District processing 33.
