Skydrive for Xbox picked by Gorilla Technology's Paul Spain , host of the NZ Tech Podcast.

How much fun is flipping through an old photo album during summer with friends or family? With this sort of functionality in mind, Microsoft has delivered a way to do this on your TV screen.

SkyDrive is a service and set of associated apps for storing your photos, videos, documents and other files online and synchronising them to multiple computers if you wish to. The service (like competitors such as Dropbox) also provides phone apps so photos and videos can be stored by the service too.

This addition of a SkyDrive app for Xbox enables easy viewing of photos (and videos to some extent) in a social setting by putting them on your TV screen for all to see. The app is free to Xbox users who pay for an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
