Lea Michele was the victim of a Twitter hacker Friday.
The star's account was infiltrated, with fans going into a frenzy after a message was posted claiming the Glee star was pregnant.
"Before this gets out to the media, I would like to announce to my fans that I am pregnant #BabyBoy," the message read.
But the singer and actress' representative was swift in addressing the remarks to Buzzfeed, assuring Michele's followers and the media that she was not expecting.
A statement was not provided.
The Twitter message followed a day after Michele was seen in public with new boyfriend, actor Matthew Paetz.
The couple met on the set of her music video for On My Way in April.
The relationship marks Michele's first since the death of Cory Monteith, who suffered a drug overdose last year.
It also comes a day after Lea's Glee co-star Chris Colfer had his own Twitter account hacked, upsetting fans with a bogus announcement that he was leaving the hit US TV show.
The actor's reps at Glee once again moved quickly to dismiss the remarks as a hoax.
"We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked," the show's producers told Entertainment Weekly.
"Rumours of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth. We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season."
