Madonna has been confirmed as the new face of Dolce and Gabbana.
Stefano Gabbana - one half of the Italian designer duo - is thrilled the 'Celebration' singer has taken part in a campaign, which was shot over the weekend, and can't wait for it to come out.
He wrote on his Twitter page: "The campaign with Madonna is beautiful (4 me.
I can't say anything about [it]!!! (sic).
"On the shooting with Domenico......We are at the last shot...M [Madonna] is simply beautiful...We're very, very tired but very happy as well....To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true."
The 51-year-old star will appear in the label's spring 2010 campaign, advertising their womenswear collection.
The adverts will be Sicilian-themed and were shot in Brooklyn, New York, by renowned fashion photographer Stephen Klein.
Madonna has previously appeared in campaigns for Louis Vuitton, while her toyboy boyfriend Jesus Luz has also done campaigns for Dolce and Gabbana.
