Lily Allen fritters fortune away

British pop star Lily Allen regrets her wasteful spending - she's blown a huge chunk of her US$7.5 million fortune on designer dresses and "stupid things".
The singer shot to fame in 2006 when her debut single, Smile, topped the charts in her native Britain, and she's gone on to become one of the UK's most successful singer/songwriters.
She is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper.
Allen estimates her two albums and non-stop touring have netted her US$7.5 million - but she admits frittering away large sums of cash on pointless luxuries.
"I wish I had been more concerned about money over the past years, because I've wasted a lot on clothes and just stupid things. (Boyfriend) Sam (Cooper) says, don't beat yourself up about it, but I wish I hadn't been quite so frivolous," Allen told Britain's Sunday Times Magazine.
"I'd really hope I'm never in a position where I'd have to sell pictures of my wedding, but if times get hard ... If it meant I'd lose my house otherwise, then I'd have to think about it."
She also offered words of support to Kanye West after the rapper took aim at himself in a series of bizarre online rants.
West has kept a low profile since last September after jumping on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards to protest against Taylor Swift's win for Best Female Video - insisting the prize belonged to Beyonce for her hit, Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
At the weekend he berated his own behaviour on his Twitter account, and apologised to Swift again.
"With new found humility... who am I to run on stage? I would never ever again in a million years do that. Sorry to let you down. Beyonce didn't need that. MTV didn't need that and Taylor and her family, friends and fans definitely didn't want or need that.
But a concerned Allen, who follows West on the microblogging site, has advised the rapper not to be so down on himself.
"Cheer up Kanye. We all still love you! It's really no big deal bro (sic). One little mistake, massively blown out of proportion. You're being WAY too hard on yourself," she wrote.
