Batman – The Brave and the Bold

Season Two, Part One, Volume One

(Warner Bros Entertainment, PG)

Ever since superhero Batman's comic-book debut in Detective Comics in 1939, the caped crusader has enjoyed numerous incarnations in print, film and, more recently, children's cartoons. Beautiful animation complements six well-crafted stories which feature familiar good guys, such as Aquaman, along with a new lineup of formidable baddies. Adults will enjoy the timeless themes of justice and friendship told in a family friendly format. Gotham City has rarely been this much fun.
