Top five things to do this weekend
ALL BLACKS V ENGLAND
You may have noticed our beloved national rugby team around the city this week ahead of their match against England at Waikato stadium this Saturday. Kick-off is at 7.35pm.
If you're keen to catch a glimpse at the boys in black, try Garden Place between 4-5pm tomorrow.
The Maungatautari Mission multisport event returns for 2014 at Lake Karapiro and Maungatautari Mountain on Sunday. It is being run on the old course from Maungatautari and will end at the BoatShed Cafe.
$10 from each competitor will be donated to Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari to help upgrade the fence so Kakapo can be released there.
TAMAHERE COUNTRY MARKET
It's the third Saturday of the month and that means another market at Tamahere, run by St Stephens Church from 8.30am-1pm.
BIKE SKILLS PARK
The Avantidrome has a playground for two wheels perfect for your fearless young adventurers. The outdoor tracks are for all ages, with a range to chose from such as BMX, a road-like track and a skills one. Children must be aged ten and over to use the indoor track.
Veteran Wellington country music band the Warratahs are playing at the Yot Club in Raglan tonight, $20 at the door.
