COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS

The 2014 National Country Music Awards will be held in Hamilton this Saturday at Founders Theatre. This year's guests include The Howie Morrison Trio, Pat and Brendan Dugan, Leslie Nia Nia, Kylie Austin and Australia's Morgan Evans, who toured with Taylor Swift. FUN STICKS HOCKEY HAVE A GO

Hockey New Zealand is running a free ActivePost Fun Sticks Hockey Have-A-Go event in Hamilton this Saturday for children aged 4-7 and their parents. No experience is necessary, hockey equipment will be provided  and the first 100 childrens and parents will receive a free t-shirt.  It starts at 9.30am at the Gallagher Hockey Centre at Innes Common.

Catch some football action in Taupo on Sunday as the Wellington Phoenix FC take on New Zealand A . The game is happening at Owen Delany Park, Centennial Drive, Taupo and starts at 1.30pm.
