Wintec fashion design students wowed crowds at the Waikato Times Tempo Fourth Collective fashion show held at The Atrium last week.

First year students started the sold out show with impressive garments made from merino.

Waikato fashion labels Annah Stretton and Nyne, along with Auckland label Ruby/Liam, showed pieces from their current collections halfway through the show, and the night ended with the graduate Fourth Collective show.

Judges had difficulty choosing a winner and selected four finalists. Grant Davy won the top prize with his collection, Whose Side Am I On? Ari Brown won the prize for the first-year design student and Kohia Tarapata won a special prize from Ruby to have a two-week internship at the label's head office in Auckland.
