2009 Clancy's Shiraz Cabernet Merlot

Peter Lehmann

RRP $21.99

From the South Australian stable of wines from renowned winemaker Peter Lehmann, who I consider the "safe" option when buying red wines. Clancy's is a fine example of a gutsy winter red to accompany any hearty winter meal. The rich currant and spicy flavours explode in this robust blend of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and merlot varieties and is worth the $21.99 spend - especially when on sale for $14.99.
