Measles is continuing to make its presence felt in the Waikato, with the region's district health board confirming the overall number of cases has risen to 77 since the outbreak began in late May.

Five of those people were treated in hospital but are now well.

While still largely associated with Fraser High School, there have also been confirmed cases at Nga Taiatea Wharekura, Raglan Area School, Hamilton Girls' High School and Hamilton Junior High School.
